Every competition now has its own comments section, whether the prize is a dream car, luxury home, cash or the latest tech.

The UK prize competition industry has come a long way from a collection of relatively small independent websites giving away cars and cash. It is now estimated to be worth around £1.3 billion a year, attracts roughly 7.4 million adult players, and has caught the attention of some seriously well-funded businesses.
Another major player has moved into the UK prize draw market. German lottery group ZEAL Network has bought SevenCanyon, the company behind 7days Performance, Redline Competitions and UKCC, in a deal worth up to £38.6 million. It is a sizeable takeover, but the bigger story is what it says about an industry that is quickly growing up.
