THE SMARTER WAY TO FIND COMPETITIONS
How It Works
RaffleRadar brings live prize competitions from vetted UK operators into one place and shows you the real numbers behind each one. Here is what we measure, where the figures come from, and how to use the tools.

Trusted Operators Only
RaffleRadar is not a directory of every competition website. Each operator is vetted, and only those meeting our standards for transparency, legitimacy and trust are listed. If we cannot confidently verify an operator’s business details and competition terms, we do not list them.
Every operator featured has passed our review process and publicly provides a free alternative entry route, such as postal entry, consistent with the requirements for free draws under the Gambling Act 2005.
We currently track 33 verified operators and 1,781 live competitions.
Operator Profiles
Every operator has a profile page showing their live competitions, their typical prize values and their median Value Ratio.
Alongside our review, each profile shows the raw picture: what the operator is running right now and how its competitions price up. It’s useful when you’ve found a draw you like and want to see what else the same operator has open.
Where Our Data Comes From
Our source data comes from the operator’s own website: ticket price, total tickets, tickets sold, prize details and closing time. Nothing is estimated when a real figure is available, and once we have captured a real figure we never overwrite it with a guess.
We collect on a measured schedule rather than continuously hitting operator sites. That is a deliberate choice. It keeps us welcome, which is why our coverage is broad and stays that way.
Figures can therefore differ slightly from an operator's page in the minutes between refreshes. Always check the operator's own site for final availability before entering.
Best Value: Our Core Measure
Best Value looks beyond ticket price and compares the value of the prize with the total cost of the tickets still available:
prize value ÷ (tickets left × ticket price)
A £50,000 car at £1 a ticket can look like the same deal in two different competitions — until you look at the remaining ticket pool. With 5,000 tickets left, the remaining tickets would cost £5,000 in total. With 500,000 tickets left, they would cost £500,000. Same prize, same ticket price, completely different value.
RaffleRadar uses this comparison to rank competitions by Best Value, allowing draws with very different prizes, ticket prices and ticket pools to be compared on the same basis.
As tickets are sold or competition details change, Best Value is recalculated automatically so the rankings stay current.
Best Value is a comparison tool, not a prediction of your chances of winning. Every draw is random. It simply helps highlight competitions where the prize value compares more favourably with the cost of the remaining ticket pool.
Sorting & Filtering
The sort menu reorders every listing on the site.
Best Value ranks by the measure above. This is the default.
Most Undersold shows draws closing soon with the lowest percentage of tickets sold, with instant wins and free entries removed. We also filter out draws using inflated ticket limits to appear more undersold than they really are.
Ending Soon puts the nearest deadlines first.
Best Odds finds the smallest ticket pools across all live competitions, giving you a quick way to spot draws with better potential odds.
Top Picks combines value, time remaining, prize size and the operator's track record into a single ranking.
Top Prizes brings the biggest prizes to the front: homes, cars, cash, holidays and high-value technology.
Selling Fast shows draws approaching a sell-out.
Lowest Ticket Price ranks by entry cost ascending.
Highest Ticket Price ranks by entry cost descending.
Newest shows what has just been listed.
Most Tickets Left shows draws with the most availability remaining.
Alongside the sort, you can filter by:
- Category: Vehicles, Houses, Watches, Cash, Tech, Games, Tickets, Free and Other. The Other category includes Home, Holidays, Collectibles, Music, Experiences, Sports and Uncategorised.
- Closing window: today, three days or five days
- Minimum prize value
- Free to enter
Spend Search
Spend Search turns the usual comparison around. Instead of starting with ticket price, choose how much you want to spend and RaffleRadar shows what that budget actually gets you.
Best Odds for £X finds the strongest odds your budget can buy.
Most Entries for £X finds where your money buys the most tickets.
Biggest Prize for £X finds the highest-value prizes where your budget buys at least one entry.
Change your budget at any time and the results recalculate automatically.
Instant Wins & Prize Drops
Not every competition works the same way. Instant wins, prize drops and similar formats often do not publish a ticket total, and some do not publish sales at all.
Where there is no ticket total, there is no percentage sold, no odds calculation and no projection. We show what the operator publishes and leave the rest blank rather than filling it with an estimate. These draws are also excluded from Most Undersold, since a competition with no stated pool cannot be undersold in any meaningful sense.
Ticket Sales History
Every competition page includes a chart showing how the sold percentage has changed since RaffleRadar started tracking it.
A single sold percentage only tells you where a draw is now. The sales history shows you how it got there — whether it climbed quickly and then stalled, sold steadily over time, or accelerated sharply as the deadline approached.
There are three useful patterns to watch for. A flat line can suggest weak demand, a steady climb shows consistent sales, and a late spike can mean the deadline is driving a rush of entries. That extra context helps you understand how a competition is moving, rather than relying on one snapshot alone.
Recent Draws
The Recent Draws page lists competitions that have just closed, with their final percentage sold where that information is available.
It is an important part of the record behind RaffleRadar. Our projections and operator value data use how draws have actually finished, while completed competitions also provide useful evidence when we assess an operator’s wider track record.
Estimated At Close
Alongside the sales history, live competition pages show an Estimated At Close figure — our estimate of the percentage of tickets likely to be sold by the time the draw ends.
The estimate is based primarily on how similar draws from the same operator have finished in the past. Where an operator regularly repeats the same type of competition, we use the median final sold percentage from those previous draws. Where there are fewer direct comparisons, we use the operator’s recent completed competitions more broadly. Current sales pace can then adjust that historical baseline.
Each estimate shows what it is based on and how many previous draws sit behind it, so you can judge how much weight to give it. An estimate based on 83 completed draws, for example, carries more evidence than one based on only a handful.
It is an estimate, not a guarantee. Competitions without a published ticket total cannot be projected, and new operators will not receive an estimate until enough completed draws are available to make it meaningful.
Live Odds & Ticket Calculator
Live Odds estimates your chance of winning from the tickets sold so far. Move the slider between one ticket and the maximum allowed, and your odds, win chance and total cost update as you go.
Use it to see exactly how additional entries change your current odds, win chance and total cost before you enter.
Number Of Winners
Some draws have more than one winner. Where that is the case, the page says so, and the odds calculation accounts for it: your chance is measured against every prize on offer, not just the headline one.
A draw with multiple winners gives you more chances to win than an otherwise identical single-winner draw, and RaffleRadar’s odds calculation takes every winning position into account.
Prize Value
Prize Value is the stated or estimated value of what is being given away. We use the operator’s published value where one is available. Where none is provided, we estimate conservatively and clearly label it as an estimate.
Where an operator offers cash instead of the prize, the page shows the amount.
Cash Alternative
It is often lower than the prize value. A prize can include extras that do not carry across to the cash option: delivery, insurance, a year of servicing, or accessories bundled with the main item. The gap between the two figures is worth looking at before you decide which you would take.
Operator Value Ratio
The Value Ratio, or VR, compares an operator's potential takings against the value of its prizes. A higher VR means the operator generally takes more relative to what it gives away.
One draw proves nothing, so we use an operator's median VR across many competitions:
- Green, below 3. More player-friendly.
- Amber, 3 to below 8. Worth noting.
- Red, 8 or above. May deserve a closer look.
Note that this is a different measure from Best Value. Best Value judges a single competition. VR judges an operator's usual pricing across everything they run.
VR is not the whole picture, and operators carry different overheads. It does make potential takings visible and comparable, which is rarely the case elsewhere.
Sales Vs Prize Value
This compares the advertised prize value with estimated live ticket sales on a single draw, showing whether ticket revenue so far is below, around or above the stated prize value. It does not represent the operator’s actual profit, which depends on prize cost and other business expenses.
Saved Searches, Alerts & Favourites
Search covers every live competition across every listed operator, by prize name, brand, model or cash value.
Useful when you know what you want rather than what you want to browse.
A search for a specific watch model will find it wherever it is running, including operators you may not have thought to check.
Save a search and we will alert you when something matching goes live. Save individual competitions to your account to keep an eye on them as they sell.
Similar Competitions
Every competition page suggests comparable draws. We match on the prize itself first, then the category, then the wider family, so a campervan page will show you other campervans before it shows you cars.
Useful when the draw you found is nearly sold out and you want the same thing at better odds.
Comments
You can comment on any competition. Comments are moderated, and links are not permitted, which keeps the discussion about the draw rather than about somebody's referral code.
Newsletter
A regular round-up of what has gone live, what is closing, and what currently stands out on value. One email, no noise.
Reporting A Problem
If a figure on a competition looks wrong, there is a report button on the page. It goes straight to us and we check it. We would rather hear about a bad number than have it sit there. The whole site rests on the figures being right.
Operator Reviews
We review each operator by looking at how they run their competitions, the prizes they offer, their track record, transparency, customer feedback and the overall experience for entrants.
Our reviews are based on research, available competition data and what we can verify — not just marketing claims. Where information is limited or an operator is still relatively new, we make that clear rather than making assumptions.
Our Blog
Our blog articles come out of watching this market every day. They cover how competitions work, what to look for, the common traps, and how to tell genuine value from good marketing.
In Short
RaffleRadar gathers the real numbers, works out what they mean, and shows how competitions are actually selling.
No hype. Honest data, practical tools and evidence-based reviews, so you can make your own call.
