UKCC began as a fishing-focused competition site but has grown into a much broader platform offering vehicles, cash, technology and instant-win prizes. Launched in 2021, it has built a sizeable following, thousands of detailed customer reviews and a substantial history of genuine winners.
UKCC originally stood for UK Carp Competitions, and fishing remains a big part of its identity. Carp anglers will find rods, reels, bait boats, shelters, bedchairs and complete tackle packages from brands such as Korda, Fox, Daiwa, Nash, RidgeMonkey and Trakker.
The platform now offers far more than fishing equipment. Cars, campervans, cash, phones, kitchen appliances and lifestyle products appear regularly, alongside smaller mini competitions and instant-win games.
UKCC is operated by UK Carp Competitions Ltd, an active British company incorporated in February 2021 and based in Norwich.
UKCC sits beneath SevenCanyon Limited, the group that also operates 7days Performance and Redline Competitions.
In July 2026, German lottery group ZEAL Network agreed to acquire SevenCanyon for an initial £33.8 million, potentially rising by another £4.8 million. The change places UKCC within a much larger and financially established group with considerable experience in technology, customer acquisition and compliance.
That extra corporate backing should be positive, although it is still too early to know whether the change will affect UKCC’s prizes, pricing or overall personality.
Fishing prizes remain UKCC’s strongest point of difference, ranging from smaller accessories to complete setups worth thousands of pounds.
Larger competitions include cars, vans, campervans and cash. Previous prizes have featured Ford Rangers and Transits, Volkswagen campervans, Land Rover Defenders and Suzuki Jimnys. Technology, tools, household products and kitchen appliances fill out the smaller draws.
UKCC advertises cash alternatives on its prizes, which is particularly useful if the winner does not want a vehicle or specialist fishing equipment.
Tickets can start from just 1p, but the number available varies enormously. When RaffleRadar checked the site in August 2026, competitions ranged from fewer than 30 tickets to more than 2.7 million. The ticket price alone therefore says very little about the actual odds or value.
Online entry is straightforward. Choose a competition, select the number of tickets, complete the checkout and receive randomly allocated ticket numbers.
Every paid competition also provides a free postal-entry route. Entrants need a UKCC account and must send each entry separately on an unenclosed postcard containing their contact details and chosen competition.
Draws are guaranteed to take place on the advertised date, even if every ticket has not sold. UKCC uses both live and automated draws, although most competitions available when we checked were automated.
Automated draws use the Mersenne Twister algorithm to choose a winner from the completed ticket list. UKCC publishes its methodology and says the system has been independently tested and certified by Gaming Laboratories International.
Instant-win competitions work differently. Winning numbers are selected in advance, and customers find out after checkout whether any of their tickets match. The reveal animation is simply for entertainment and does not influence the result.
UKCC has more than 5,500 Trustpilot reviews and a rating of around 4.9 out of five, with approximately 98% awarding five stars.
Customers regularly praise the easy-to-use website, varied prizes and speed of payment. Cash winners often report receiving their money within minutes or hours of completing the necessary checks, while physical prizes commonly arrive within a few working days.
The reviews often include specific details about prizes, spending, cash alternatives and winner contact, which adds more credibility than generic five-star comments.
Negative feedback is rare but includes occasional complaints about unwanted marketing messages, damaged deliveries and service issues. These appear to be isolated cases rather than evidence of a wider problem.
The main concern is the huge variation in ticket limits. Some mini competitions have only a few dozen or a few hundred entries, offering much more appealing odds. At the other end of the scale, vehicle and instant-win competitions can contain hundreds of thousands—or even millions—of tickets.
One recent instant-win competition allowed 2,727,272 entries, while major vehicle draws commonly displayed limits of 399,999. A ticket costing 1p or 22p may sound cheap, but the odds can still be extremely long.
The site is also heavily geared towards instant wins. Cheap tickets, site credit and prize-every-time games create plenty of activity, but they can make it easy to keep spending without noticing the overall total.
Automated draws will not appeal to everyone either. The certified system provides reassurance, but watching an algorithm produce a result is naturally less engaging than a traditional live draw.
UKCC allows customers to set a monthly spending limit, take a temporary break or permanently exclude themselves through its Safe Playing section.
These controls are worth using. Cheap tickets can quickly add up across several competitions, so set a budget beforehand and check the full basket rather than focusing on the individual entry price.
UKCC appears to be one of the stronger and more established operators in the UK competition market. Its specialist fishing prizes give it a genuine identity, while the wider selection of vehicles, cash, technology and instant wins broadens its appeal.
The company has a substantial winner history, excellent customer feedback, fast reported payouts, guaranteed draw dates and an independently certified automated draw system. Its new ownership also places it within a much larger and financially established group.
The main caution is the ticket limits. Some UKCC competitions offer genuinely attractive odds, while others run into the hundreds of thousands or millions. Look beyond the cheap ticket price and check the total entries before deciding whether a draw offers reasonable value.
For fishing enthusiasts in particular, UKCC is comfortably worth a look. Keep a firm budget, choose competitions carefully and remember that even a 1p ticket can come with marathon odds.
Lucky Day Competitions
Lucky Day Competitions has been operating since 2019 and has grown into a large UK and Irish competition operator. Run by Northern Ireland-based Ace Competition Ltd, the company says it has now awarded more than £85 million in prizes to over 40,000 winners.

Clubhouse Competitions is a UK competition site that has been operating since 2021, offering traditional prize draws alongside instant wins and leaderboard-style competitions. It has built a decent track record, a large archive of completed draws and strong customer feedback.
Golf Star Competitions
GolfStar Competitions is a UK competition site built firmly around golf. Instead of mixing hundreds of unrelated prizes together, it focuses mainly on clubs, equipment, technology and experiences, with everything from golf balls and putters to premium custom-fit sets and electric trolleys up for grabs.
